Rishona – My First

I never quite understood why people kept mentioning that time flies but lately after becoming a mother I can see it why. When you see someone you gave birth to grow into a little person learning and understanding life you would know why. I have been meaning to write this for almost since my daughter was born and now I got to it when she is almost 2 years old, my bad.

The thought juggled my mind when Rishona gave me a mother’s day gift saying “I love you mamma’ Happy Mothers Day :-)

So this is an ode to you my little one, to tell you that you have changed my life in so many beautiful ways. Your arrival gifted me with qualities that I never thought I would ever possess. You’ve taught me to be patient, give without expecting, forget and forgive, make someone’s day with a hug and a smile, keep learning, love unconditionally and most important of all, to be a MOTHER.

Thanks for being such a wonderful daughter. I look forward to all the days which we are yet to share, our little fights and arguments, the mother daughter sessions, our shopping sprees, boyfriend troubles  and much more. I hope and pray to go that you grow up to be a good and thoughtful person. May god continues bless to you.
